Getting to Grand Isle

Champlain Adult Campground is located off Route 314 in Grand Isle, Vermont.

From Vermont and New England
Take I-89 North past Burlington to Exit 17. Bear right onto Route 2 West. Follow Route 2 into the Champlain Islands. Turn left onto Route 314 and follow until you reach the blinking yellow light at the Grand Isle Ferry Landing. Stay on Route 314 for another 0.4 mile, then turn left onto Champlain Landing. Follow the signs in the campground to the front office.

From New York
Take I-87 to Exit 39, and follow the signs for the Cumberland Head Ferry to Vermont. Board the ferry, and exit on the Vermont side. Coming out of the Ferry Landing, turn left onto Route 314. Stay on Route 314 for 0.4 mile, then turn left onto Champlain Landing. Follow the signs in the campground to the front office.

From Canada
Coming on the New York side, take Route 15 and cross Lake Champlain at Rouses Point. Follow Route 2 East through the Champlain Islands. In Grand Isle, turn right onto Route 314 and follow for 2.5 miles, then turn right onto Champlain Landing. Follow the signs in the campground to the front office.

If you are coming from the New York side, you can also follow Route 15 South, which becomes I-87 at the border, and take the ferry at Cumberland Head. For directions, see above.

Coming on the Vermont side from Canada, take 133 South. At the border, it becomes I-89 South. Before Burlington, take Exit 17 and turn right onto Route 2 West. Follow Route 2 into the Champlain Islands. Turn left onto Route 314 and follow until you reach the blinking yellow light at the Grand Isle Ferry Landing. Stay on Route 314 for another 0.4 mile, then turn left onto Champlain Landing. Follow the signs in the campground to the front office.
